Overview: As part of an internal project at our company, I designed an innovative, interactive experience to pitch to potential vendors using HypeBox technology. HypeBox is an augmented reality touchscreen platform that blends interactive digital content with real-world products. I leveraged this technology to showcase my design process in a dynamic, three-dimensional format, moving away from the traditional two-dimensional presentations.

Thinking Outside the Box

For this project, I wanted to create a memorable experience that would leave users with a ‘wow’ factor, something they’d be excited to share with their friends. The initial wow came from the HypeBox itself—a unique touchscreen display unlike anything users had seen before, sparking curiosity and excitement. The screen was designed to feel alive, almost as if it were breathing, creating an immersive and intriguing first impression.

Once users engage with the box, they’re guided on a personalized journey, selecting their final destination from a list of Nashville’s iconic spots, such as Robert’s Western World, Hattie B’s, Exit/In, Zanies, and Dino’s. This dynamic experience offers a fresh interaction for every user, depending on their destination choice. The concept also presents potential for monetization through targeted advertising, providing brands with an opportunity to engage users in a fun, unique way.
