Franklin City Visitors Bureau

Franklin Convention and Visitor Bureau is the official destination marketing organization for Williamson County, Tennessee, including all of its incorporated cities Brentwood, Fairview, Franklin, Nolensville, Thompson’s Station, and Spring Hill. The Franklin Convention and Visitors Bureau came to us to rebrand their whole website. The task was to take their current copy and photographs and implement them into new brand guidelines.

For this project I studied and investigated nearly 100 other CVB websites. By gathering this competitive research, I was able to determine which components and design elements were most effective. During this review, I saw an opportunity to make this website more original and unique by taking the site out of the template used by most other CVB websites. My goal was to make the user feel like they were looking at their own personal travel guide. By bringing in a handwritten font, watercolor splashes, fun icons, and animations, I was able to lead the user on a more visually exciting journey which allowed them to discover everything that is so special about Franklin.
